The quality of food never fails to impress me. Every single item on their menu tastes amazing and is obviously cooked with care. Much props to the chef. Also, the packaging is so so cute! I remember when it was still the yellow circle, but I enjoy this new square design more. However, on that note, the reason this is 4 stars instead of 5 is because I just can't fathom the price changes when nothing about the quality... View all feedback.
What Lewis Ho doesn't like about Go! Go! Curry:
The food tastes good but the portions are poor. Basically you are paying 14 dollars for a thin piece of protein and three bites of rice. The atmosphere is horrible. The place is nearly empty with people already and there is no music and the staff were hiding behind the kitchen unless someone opened the front door. What a weird restaurant View all feedback.

Fun facts about Go! Go! Curry! from their website:-5 is pronounced as Go in Japanese-GGC is named after baseball legend Hideki Matsui 's jersey number of 55-Their curry is made using 55 process, 5 hours to stew and 55 hours to mature-Everything is in increments of 5- prices, hours open (10:55- 5:55), specialties on days that end in 5Fiancé first had GGC when he lived in New York- and has been craving it ever since. On our last day in New York/New Jersey, we stopped by for lunch. Fiancé had the pork katsu and I had the chicken katsu. Initially I didn 't think I 'd be full off of the portion- but I overestimated myself- it was definitely the right amount for lunch! The katsu was thin and crispy and the curry was thick and a good compliment. I wish they would expand to the west coast- we want some Go! Go! Curry too!
Gogocurry gonna fill you up and make u FEEL good too!
Very delicious! Easier to get to than NYC, Rice. Everything was perfect!
As an Asian Rutgers student, there are only a few authentic Asian restaurants to choose from in Newark, but Go!Go! Curry never fails to satiate my appetite for some delicious, umami Japanese curry. My go-to meal here is either the Chicken Katsu Curry Bowl or the Home Run Bowl, both of which taste amazing. I will definitely come back again and again! Thank you for the delicious food!
