And nothing like pleasant customer service on a busy morning!

This morning, I stopped at DD on Central by NJIT before heading off to do errands. Needed a caffeine fix and also wanted to try that Stroopwafel donut out now.... read more This morning, I stopped at DD on Central by NJIT before heading off to do errands. Needed a caffeine fix and also wanted to try that Stroopwafel donut out now. First time going here. On a Wednesday/weekday, I think the morning crew does a good job. The woman taking drive-thru orders was friendly and was upbeat. Also, I had gone inside when I realized something with my order and the two women who helped me at the counter were cool and not perturbed by my request, still nice, genuinely friendly, and actually helped me. (You know, this doesn't happen at all DDs or businesses... I don't normally ask for a fix or change to an order, but because this was for someone else today, I did. I was ready to be turned away or gruffly chewed out, but that didn't happen here. Hence, I am a fan of this location and recommend coming here weekday mornings if you are driving through University Heights or getting downtown for work. Finally, the Stroopwafel is legit!
