A huge rest area along I-95 while driving up/ down North East in Delaware. It has almost everything, the inside of the store has most of chain fast food are here, fresh market, gifts shop, huge restrooms on each side of the building. On the outside has the gas station, Tesla Supercharger, Ev charging stations, bus/truck parking lot and even a small park for short break of driving. View all feedback.
What Liz H doesn't like about Biden Welcome Center:
Packed on a sunny summer weekend. It was hard to find a good parking spot and there were tons of people. This used to be one of my fave rest stops in the area but dang. Today, it was just off. A couple stores were closed and the men's and women's rooms on the left side were closed. So everyone had to go to the ones on the right. Very crowded and less than ideal. The food places were pretty packed but I did not like m... View all feedback.
WARNING: Absolutely filthy bathrooms! Lurkers in the men's bathroom... parents beware... Food prices extra high.. and extra long.. i ended up leaving.. its not what it used to be... so sad...
The biggest and best service plaza on the Kennedy Highway. Cheaper gas than at the Maryland plazas to boot.
To be named after the current president in the state that he calls home, I expected better. The bathrooms are filthy! Gross! Like don't accidentally touch the walls of the stall, dirty. And the stench? Like urine left to dry for days, weeks, months, or longer...the staff in the shops were incredibly kind and were clearly working hard, but I didn't see a single cleaning person.
Lets go brandon!!! lets go brandon!!! lets go brandon!!! (would rate 0 stars but that's not an option trump daddy 2024
Proud to stop at Biden Welcome Center, that is until we used the restrooms. No soap at any of the sinks (crazy, especially as Covid continues). Male attendant was cleaning bathroom. A polite man asked him if there was any soap, and on the third time, the attendant removed his headphones. He said I don 't have to listen to anything from you all (looking at me as well). That 's why I wear headphones. Then he came between us (I never said a word), placed hs headphones on the sink) and repeated I don 't have to answer to you people at all. His tone grew angrier: If there is no soap, there is no soap. the employee seemed eager to get into a fight until the polite man said he wasn 't looking for a confrontation and quickly departed. That is the new America: the attitude from employees who have to do the work no one else wants to do.
