Applebee's Grill - Newark

Great place to eat! service is good and eating is affordable.

Great experience with this place. we stopped on the road from applebee to wildton. 2 waiters standing by pos, a hostess that keeps a hostess stand and no manager in sight. and 45 minutes wait with 2 tables 1 four up and 1 2 up. so we went. the applebee is finally on the plaza of the people to stop, was everything we were looking for for a great server, the manager was everywhere to help. the food was tasty I will recommend to everyone

We were here a few times when we visit the new boat barn that is just on the road. olivia the manager waited for us, she was excellent, very attentive. that was eating as they would expect from applebee, each ate most of their meal except elijah our 2 years old, but that is for the cursor.

Kitchen staff obviously don’t care about hygiene bc I’m currently sick in severe abdominal pain from a stomach bug after eating there. We dined in, and my friend also experienced stomach issues.I had the quesadilla burger, he had questionable-looking grilled chicken, steamed broccoli mashed potatoes, which he said both had a “weird texture”.Also, table booth seats were SOAKED when we sat down. It was almost like the busser had poured a glass of ice water from the last customer on the table. Smelled like musty rag/wet dog instead of disinfectant solution.Server was nice but seemed zoned out we had to repeat our orders to her a couple of times bc she just couldn’t seem to focus. I hope she is okay.

From the hostess to our waiter.. they were so friendly. My nieces and nephews enjoyed the atmosphere and food.
