Hot Spot Pizza - Newark

This is my 1st time ordering here. I ordered for pick up. I was very disappointed. I ordered the grilled chicken parm with a side of meatballs. Where is the cheese? It's chicken PARM. The grilled chicken was super tough and tasted old. I am big on Italian food and this dish turned me off and now I don't wish try or buy anything else from here. 1st impression is everything. It's a big NO for me! I wish I could get a refund! Seriously. I'm pissed. You spend your money and you expect to get what you want...exactly what you ordered!

I’ve had frozen pizza from acme better than this. $46 for a large and medium with some wings and now my jaw hurts because I feel like I’m chewing on a truck tire

1st foremost the woman at the counter who took my order was great. Efficient, nice. Quality wasn’t bad for all the items. Cheese pizza had a unique flavor, can’t say was good or bad. The Mozz Sticks looked authentic, however I would guess they are a premade, packaged product based on the inside. Cheeseburger sub, quality good, size was a push for the price, flavor, bland. I’ve done so many of these if you know someone who does subs tell them… Salt, Pepper Oregano goes a long way!!! The cars parked out front at the curb is a little off putting but that’s me being a little nitpicky. Parking: Large lot.

The best pizza store in town with good people inside

This is probably our favorite takeout spot. The prices are so reasonable, and the food is always great. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience here, and we've ordered here for several years. That's pretty amazing when I think about it. The cashiers are always pleasant. The order is always on time, and well-packaged Message to the owners and staff: I think you are doing everything right, and I hope you never change.
