Our favorite place in NYC for real southern cajun food for years. Really yummy food everything on the menu!!! Love jambalaya, smothered eggs, and special any day. And never stop at one piece of cornbread or biscuit, it will be your loss. It's a real neighborhood relaxing eatery that we . View all feedback.
I must mention that the staff here are among the best in the world, which makes a big difference. A couple of things to keep in mind: they won’t seat you unless your entire party is present, and the space is quite small—I wouldn’t recommend bringing a group larger than six. I have brought bigger groups, but that was usually late at night. The kitchen is open until midnight, and the Saturday and Sunday brunch is excellent as well.
Our favorite spot in NYC for authentic Southern Cajun cuisine for years! The food is absolutely delicious, with everything on the menu being fantastic! We especially love the jambalaya, smothered eggs, and the daily specials. And trust me, you can't just have one piece of cornbread or biscuit—it would be a missed opportunity! This place is a true neighborhood gem that offers a relaxing dining experience.
Great food and strong drinks! It's just around the corner from the Public Theater, and I make sure to visit every time I'm in NYC.
A great little intimate place offering the down-home cuisine of N'Awleans freshly and expertly prepared. Great jukebox too.
Great food and prices. Cool little spot for lunch, dinner or just stopping in for some drinks.
