Limited vegan options (doing a 'custom ' bowl is best . Tofu is quite oily, as are the sauces and sauteed vegetables. (Goodness know what the soy egg is actually made of. If healthy food is what you are after, order a custom bowl with plain noodles, no sauce, and all the fresh/pickled vegetable options.
This place offers a nice little handful of vegan options and their noodle bowls are nicely flavored. I’ve only ordered delivery but they always pack the bowl full and use a generous amount of each ingredient. The presentation is nice too, with well-designed little stickers indicating what the main ingredient is in the bowl (mushroom, tofu, etc. .
As most other reviewers have said, building you own bowl is the best option here. The tofu is saucy and soft, not the fried tofu cubes you usually get. They have a vegan sesame sauce that you should definitely add cucumbers and pickled veggies with to balance the richness, but it’s still delicious. I love their knife cut noodles, much more texture than plain rice. The portions are large, though a knife cut noodle bowl w tofu comes out to about $14 including tax.
This place is one of the assembly line places in which the base is noodles (You add vegetables, protein, sauce to the base, and depending on what you add, you can have a tasty and very filling vegan dish for not that much money. Updated from previous review on 2020-01-18
