I've been here many times. The service is wonderful. When Paulie is tending bar, you never want to leave because the drinks are works of art. But when he isn't the drinks are so-so. We had a reservation for 7 people and were not notified that the place is closed. Not okay
It was CLOSED!!!! Yes. We made a reservation for the restaurant on the location on Google and open table and this location is no longer!!
You have the best guacamole in town. Good cocktails. Watermelon friars were interesting, worth the try. The meat plate for 2 was not worth order (the ribeye was full of fat, unbeatable and boiled, waiter did not ask for skill; chorizo and short rib were dry; Bone marrow was super fat and had no spices). Very dry chicken breast in the Aroz con pollo. And they ran out of the two desserts we wanted to order! Would only go back for drinks and guacamole.
Great service. Friendly staff. Food and drinks were perfect!

Rebecca is charming, welcoming, attentive and gracious. Now for the downside. The appetizers are absolutely delicious but expensive for a tiny portion. The large plates are sort of hit and miss. The preparation of the main entree can be Interesting but the side dishes are extremely mediocre. Sadly the last time my husband and I were there the rice was inedible, the beans were bland and the tostones were like stones. I'm not giving up on this place because it has been wonderful. So maybe it's just going through a little rough patch.
