High quality food at a very reasonable price. Highlights include the weisswurst, the black rice, the duck, and the steak for 2. Exceptional cider list with ~12 on draft and ~50 by the bottle. View all feedback.
What globalcitizen doesn't like about Wassail:
The honey Brussels sprouts are absolutely delightful. However, it's disappointing that they don't offer cola as a mixer for standard drinks and cocktails. While there's a good selection of ciders and beers, the overall menu feels too limited for a night out with friends. View all feedback.
Great place! Delicious food and really nice service.
The most knowledgeable cider experts I've ever met. These guys have a true passion for craftsmen!
This was a great place for an early (6:30) business dinner because we could talk and catch up, and then at 7 or 8:00 it was moderately busy and full of life!
Good stuff is the spits with honey. Stupid is the absence of Cola-Drinks as a blender for basic drinks and cocktails. Many apple and beer choices. In general, I found the elections at this point too limited for friends.
I went to Wassail last year because it was a vegetarian restaurant with a big apple wine menu. I returned this year to enjoy more vegetarian food and cider, but to my surprise it no longer found a vegetarian restaurant. While the cedar was really good, the ducks were not as convincing as their vegetarian counterparts and the selection was very limited. Only four entrees of whom we have decided; we had the whiteworst, and it was a little Bland. The ugly crostini was good; some of the other appetizers were fine, but the star was the cedar and not the food and hoped for food equal to the cedar. Get the vegetarian back!
