I have visited this restaurant multiple times and absolutely adore it. While the service may be a bit slow due to the limited number of servers, the food is delicious. I especially enjoy their variety of crostini and gnocchi. They also have daily specials, such as $5 sangria on weekends. I will definitely be returning again! View all feedback.
What MarianaA doesn't like about Todaro Bros Enoteca:
My husband and I decided to have a quick dinner date near our place, so we went to this restaurant without high expectations. Unfortunately, we were still disappointed. The service was extremely slow, despite the restaurant being empty. The food tasted reheated and the portion sizes were small. I would only recommend this place for a wine night with friends, as the bottles are reasonably priced. Otherwise, I suggest... View all feedback.
Great ambiance, interesting wine list, simple but good food. I love stopping into Todaros for a relaxed meal and glass of wine before shopping or catching a movie at AMC Loews Kips Bay. Also associated with a good deli that has a fantastic range of cheeses and ready made dishes. Overall good value and enjoyable.
My friends and I went to Todaro Bros. Enoteca after a movie at the Kips Bay theater. We were 6 people and let's just say the seating is minimal (glad I made a reservation) . This is a small café that was added on to the Todaro Bros. food shop. In addition to the 6 of us, there were maybe 3 4 other tables, so best to make a reservation. Most of us had their crostini which were absolutely delicious! And very generous portions 5 crostini for $9! One of my friends had the chicken parm which I tasted outstanding. They have a fair number of menu choices, all made fresh and with fresh ingredients. Our only complaint: one young man to take care of the few tables and it took him a while just to bring us the wine list. But, he was polite and the quality of the food erased any doubts that we'd be coming back.
My book club went here and loved the food and setup. It was a very small space on the side of a gourmet food shop. They had such a great selection of crostini that were delicious! The service was mediocre they barely checked on us and didn't seem to want us there at all. They close at 10pm which is also pretty early for NYC.
I went there several times and love this place totally. Although the service is somewhat slow because the server are very few, their foods are very delicious. especially I like a lot of crostini and gnocchi. they also have special offer every day, so they can drink a gras of sangria like $5 at the weekends. in any case I will visit there again!
I just wanted a quick dinner with my man near our place, so we went there without great expectations, but we were not satisfied. the service is veeeery slow, although the space was empty. the eating tasty microwave and the portions are small. it would only recommend drinking there wein with a group of friends, as the bottles are reasonable price. other than that, they simply stick with the goodies they sell in their shop next door.
