Contribute FeedbackThis Southeast Asian restaurant dazzles with a vibrant atmosphere and beautifully presented dishes that elevate traditional flavors. Guests rave about the incredible fried rice and beef dishes, lending praise to attentive service. However, feedback reveals inconsistencies, particularly regarding portion sizes, seasoning, and pricing, with some dishes deemed overpriced. While certain items like the fried chicken and lamb ribs shine, others, such as the green papaya salad and chilled desserts, fall short. Despite these drawbacks, the lively setting and potential for memorable dining experiences suggest that the restaurant is worth a visit for those seeking bold, modern flavors.
Everything is rated at 5 out of 5 for this spot. If you want a traditional $8 pho, it's not the spot. But if you want to consume one of the best modernized southeastern food, this is it. If there was ever the best non traditional Asian cusine, this is one.
I'm sorry to say. The morning glory stirred fry dish had no flavor. The chili crab fried rice was not bad but very oily. The server rushed you at every move you make or say. Got told to order 2 dishes per person. Runners are very professional though. Also, it's confusing to my friends and I even more when the host came to the table and asked for the name of reservation after we ordered then the other person came to us and asked why we didn't get the entree yet after the rice got served without any other food items.Got asked by a few guys if we were done with our food while we were chewing and there were like half of the food left in the dish. Coconut bomb isn't right. The whipped cream tasted super sour and spoiled. The server said it's the most popular dish and it was supposed to be a coconut bomb. Like really? I don't get what that means. This tactic didn't sell me. I honestly appreciate the presentation of the southeast Asian cuisines but the taste and the service need some adjustment.
The Tyger does a great job in taking traditional Asian cuisine to an elevated depth of flavor. I had the experience of dining the prefix meal which is only available to parties of 4 or more and is $85 a person. The timing of the courses were spot on and each dish had its own unique twist to it. Everything was cooked exceptionally well from a culinary stand point and I was very pleased with the whole experience. Definitely a great spot for business meetings, date nights, and many more special occasions.
