I had a wonderful experience overall, and I will definitely return for a meal or a drink. The atmosphere is lovely, the menu is diverse, and the television options are great. It has a more upscale feel compared to typical Irish pubs. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Long Room:
The Long Room is my go to spot if I find myself in midtown and need lunch or a quick dinner. Good drink selection, tasty and comforting pub fare, and the staff is just fantastic. I met an old friend for lunch, and they let us sit and chat for another hour after the bill was paid just left us to enjoy our conversation. It's a great spot. View all feedback.
The food and drinks were great, made a reservation and were out at the table by the front door. But, the food was very good.
As big as New York is, coming here felt just right. Got dinner with my grandma and it got far beyond our expectations, smily and welcoming staff, delicious food. We recommend you to have the water cress salad! We’ll definitely go back
Tasty fare. The short ribs tacos were good. **** Mary was better.
Called in after a show on a Saturday night, wasn't too busy but filled up afterwards. The fit out of the bar is very authentic and very nice. The barman, an English bloke I believe, and one other waitress did a really good job of taking care of everyone when it got busy. The Guinness was not very good, but I will say the Old Fashioned I had and the Stephens Green cocktail my GF had were excellent, whilst the fish chips were solid if unspectacular. Overall wouldn't hesitate to give this place a go if you're in the Times Square area, there aren't many bars as solid as this one in the area it gets this Irishman's seal of approval.
Rob was our bartender! He did such an amazing job! Dealing with irate customers while managing the bar and dining area alone. Truly impressed and highly recommend this bar!
