We were greeted cheerfully and seated promptly. The service was great, and all four of us enjoyed our meals. (Try that hot dog--it will blow your socks off!! Honestly, I have never had a bad meal at the Brooklyn Diner! That's why I keep going back. View all feedback.
What KimP doesn't like about The Brooklyn Diner Times Square:
Pleasant breakfast place, not too noisy or crowded. Food good, overpriced like everywhere, but filling, good portions, well prepared, and friendly service. Will definitely return (though I prefer the location on W. 57th, only because you don't have to deal with the traffic and crowds of Times Square. View all feedback.
It is an expensive restaurant , but a place that worth to be visited
Best breakfast in the area, bar none. Had the waffles, they were very light and filling at the same time. Staff were all incredibly pleasant, and food came pretty fast. Definitely will be a go to spot for us next time we’re in New York.
I would give BD 5Stars for The Perfect Plate (with Grilled Salmon) except that it’s STILL way too expensive at $33 for a salad!! It’s not really that competitive anymore, as most finer restaurants have adjusted prices. But it is a perfect plate and I can always count on wait staff to be friendly and attentive. I’d come more often and refer more People if I knew they could afford it. Just doesn’t make sense to spend $40-50 with beverage and tip, for an entree salad at a diner.
The ambience was very nice and the food was very good too.
