We decided to try this restaurant and we're so glad we did. The drinks were amazing, thanks to the skillful bartender named Hope. We will definitely be returning, especially for the drinks. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tenjune:
We had a group of 9 people at the rooftop. It’s decorated like a mid-priced sandwich place. Poorly arranged cheap looking furniture; no landscaping. Somewhat cramped. Drinks were OK. Of the 9 guests 8 of us had steak. All were disappointed. A combination of the meat with the cooking. Not worth elaborating. There are much nicer rooftops not very far from STK and there are far, far better steaks in New York at the pric... View all feedback.
The interior is unimpressive, the music is mediocre, and the crowd is just okay. That's all there is to say. Tenjune deserves zero stars.
Located in the West Village, this nightclub tends to get overcrowded on weekends. The door policy can be inconsistent and unreliable due to the high demand these places experience on weekends. While the table service is decent, the bar drinks are on the weaker side. Despite these drawbacks, it is a trendy spot where you can meet cool people, which is the main purpose of going to a nightclub. If you're looking for comfort, this may not be the best option. It is recommended to visit on a Thursday or Friday for a less hectic experience.
I have visited this restaurant a few times and you have to walk down the stairs to get there (I've seen a few people trip and fall haha). It's a cozy basement club that is usually crowded but always a fun experience! However, the drinks can be expensive. The downside is that the small space can feel overwhelming when it's packed and there's no personal space. Thank goodness for table seating though! It may be pricey, but it's definitely worth it.
This club exemplified every single reason i hate clubs. It was small and crowded. The Dress Code they say you have to follow is complete BS considering that there were girls in jeans and converse. I should have known how bad this place was going to be because when I told a coworker I was going here for a friend 's birthday, she laughed and said that 's where her friends from back home went when they were in high school. Well, I do believe they had a steady stream of 16 year olds coming into this place. The staff was pretentious and not very nice. They force you to check your coats won 't allow you to put it on the bench even if you are just my friend who was stopping by for a quick 15 minutes to wish the bday girl Happy Birthday. They crowd you into this small space and restrict where you can move. Ugh. Needless to say, I will never be returning.
First time. Came on the last Saturday of 2013. Arrived at around 12:30. Got in by a promotor running towards us from across the street. Line: Line looked to be about 20 minutes, but I didn't stand on it. With a promotor: We were able to cut the line. We did not pay a cover. Getting in: Come in with a promotor for free drinks and a table! Coat check is mandatory and costs $3. Crowd: Primarily 20-30s all races. Atmosphere: They played a great combination of hip hop/billboard music. Loved it! There are go-go dancers too, which I didn't mind. The lighting is blue and very dark. They have pretty thorough security who love using their flashlights. Overall: Very fun! Definitely would come back again! :
