Do you know how sometimes it is how to get home? well, this is this place in a clam. the personal remains as strong as ever and professional as always. it is really a certificate for the culture of herrn chow to see the same beautiful faces when we show up and eat? well, it never disappoints, no matter how bad we behave. another restaurant without soul. Moreover, it is a huge demolition and eating is oversalted. most employees could take care of less they are there. was spoken by a waiter. started rolling out tabletops and tables for the next day as we diniert. ridiculously small and incredibly overpriced weinlist. super expensive for medium quality. really terrible. Got 2 tacos de carnitas and 2 de chorizo, so amazing! They even give radish slices, what a nice treat.
I had been thinking about going to this restaurant for the past 10 years, but I was hesitant due to the negative reviews. Finally, I decided to give it a try this week, and sadly, I was let down. It's a upscale restaurant that may be suitable for a business lunch or dinner if someone else is paying. The food is mediocre, the portions are small, and the high prices are not justified. The service is quick, but overall, I won't be returning again.
I was craving Chinese food and decided to try a restaurant recommended by my hotel in Tribeca. As a tourist, I fell into a tourist trap! The food was average, but incredibly expensive. You can't order a single side dish, you have to order two of the same dish, even if you're dining alone. The service was relentless, with multiple staff members checking in on me every few minutes. I was asked if everything was okay at least 20 times in 45 minutes. While I don't mind spending money on a good meal, $360 for one person was outrageous. I recommend saving your money, taking a cab, and heading to Chinatown instead. Avoid this place at all costs.
We dined at this restaurant last night and unfortunately, our experience was not great. It seems like the restaurant may be struggling to provide a satisfactory dining experience for their customers. The server initially told us that we had not ordered enough food and insisted that we order an additional main course to meet a $60 per person minimum. After some back and forth, he eventually confirmed that we had met the minimum and told us we did not need to order any more food. The quality of the dishes varied - only the fillet and the chicken satay were worth the price of $55 per entree. The Mr Chow Noodles lacked sauce, scallion pancakes were strange and lacked dipping sauces, and the Beijing Chicken was dry and unimpressive. Despite the high price tag of $573 for four people ($143 per person), we did not enjoy the food and found it to be too much. Overall, we were not satisfied with our experience and would not recommend this restaurant. There are many other great dining options in NYC worth exploring instead.
Stopped by one afternoon and asked which torta to get, they recommended the chicken Milanese so of course I went with it and it was so good!! Got it for a friend and I a few days later and they were also blown away! 10/10 recommend, their chorizo egg and cheese torta is also good
