Great lively bar area. Fantastic food! Try the File au Poivre vow!!! If that wasn't perfect I don't know what to look for.
Croque Monsieur. Topped with ham, Gruyere cheese bechamel, the tartine was flavorful without being too heavy. The salad dressing went well with the dish.
We stumbled into this as well while searching for something French. The food was just north or average. The service was very good. The setting was trendy mix or wire mesh and exposed brick. The bill was for cocktail coffee soup entree include tip tax was $47 PP. If you are on a budget, read the menu carefully!
Well, we stumbled onto this place while walking to Mulberry Street, took one look at the menu and went in. They have just recently opened and I like the concept. A Tartine is a French open Sandwhich but not really. We started with the Foie Gras Tartine. Each one comes with a very nice salad. The foie gras is made in house and I have to say was well done. we also ordered some of their fresh juice selectins made right there at the bar. Fresh and delicious. The second tartine we ordered was the rillette. Also a great selection. This was a great atmosphere and the service was also exceptional. I would suggest for couples and small groups that desire to share.
