Sutton Cafe is an absolute gem. This old-fashioned diner is a rare find in today’s world. I make it a point to visit at least once a week to savor the delicious food and appreciate the friendly neighborhood regulars. View all feedback.
What Sarah G doesn't like about Sutton Cafe:
Sutton Cafe is a no frills small diner which seems to host an older crowd of regulars. On a Sunday during brunch time we saw mostly tables of 1 to 2 but there were a couple tables of 4 too. It's a smallish menu for a diner but has all the staples (aside from matzo ball soup). While on the smaller side, we were able to fit a high chair for our table of 3 and our server was friendly and service quick for our toddler. View all feedback.
Cozy spot with great food that also delivers! “Mom’s food” type cooking. Brunch vibes.
Wonderful local cafe/diner for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Food is consistently good, staff and ownership always make you feel at home. I recommend it highly and I personally eat there multiple times a week!
It may look like your average neighborhood diner, but Sutton Café is anything but.The décor reminds me of the classic old diners you see in movies. The place gets filled with regulars at lunchtime and the staff was friendly.I ordered the corned beef hash and eggs. My eggs were a perfect overeasy and the home fires were extra crispy just how I like them. This is a great regular spot for breakfast, lunch or just coffee and a scone.
A true NYC gem. John, Nicco and Alex are a throwback to the old country.
