Soho Grand Club Room - New York

The club itself was good, and the music was enjoyable. I was there last night, Friday, with my friend and sister. However, we encountered a girl named Jennifer who was quite rude. When the dance floor started to fill up, she asked us to move closer to it. While we were in that area, she actually put her hand on my arm and instructed me to move. I was trying to comply, but the way she said it was very disappointing for a club like this. I told her I was moving and asked her not to touch me. She responded with, “Do you have a problem?” I replied that I was just moving out of her way and asked her to be polite or at least say “excuse me.” Things escalated when she returned and said she would show me what she could do. She called over a bouncer and falsely accused me of misbehaving. Even the bouncer agreed with me, but she insisted that we leave the dance floor. All of this happened around midnight.

The concierge at the sister hotel where we were staying recommended The Clubroom for an after-dinner lounge with live music. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff was very accommodating with our reservations and upon our arrival. However, we were unfortunately overcharged compared to the pre-arranged minimum, and Daniel and his team were unwilling to resolve the overcharge on our credit card. I'm quite disappointed and cannot recommend this place.

Han and Wilmington were very helpful with our reservation, even though we were late because our car broke down on the Brooklyn Bridge. However, the hostess at Cara de Nopal was quite disappointing. She had a dry and unfriendly attitude and showed no willingness to assist us with our booking. Overall, it was a frustrating experience.

Good drinks and ambiance, although service is quite slow

Absolutely delightful experience! The atmosphere is charming and playful, and the cocktails are fantastic. The early evening jazz adds a lovely touch. Plus, the bartenders and servers are equally charming!
