Contribute FeedbackSmith and Wollensky has received mixed reviews from diners recently. Some have had less than stellar experiences with disappointing food and service, while others have raved about the exceptional quality of the dishes and top-notch service provided. The ambiance is perfect for special occasions, with big portion sizes and a fantastic chef's table concept. Prices are on the higher side, but the overall dining experience is well worth it for those seeking a memorable meal in New York City. Whether it's fantastic or just average, Smith and Wollensky remains a must-try destination for steakhouse lovers looking for an upscale dining experience.
Mushrooms were so good. Meat was aged and cooked to perfection. This is my second time coming here and it was even better than the first Recommend: S&W Private Reserve Red
Everything was great except my strip steak. Our server recommended it as I like my steak medium rare but very disappointed—hard to cut through—should have stuck to bone-in ribeye like I initially intended to get
Outstanding steaks, onion rings, creamed spinach, and desserts. The shellfish tower is also superb
Always fantastic. High quality food, great drinks and a classy NYC steakhouse. Love it
