When it comes to food, I wish I could eat the frena bread every day for the rest of my life. We enjoyed it with hummus and bessara, and it was delicious. Since there were just two of us, we ordered a few dishes from the Shuk menu along with the soft-serve dessert. We tried the crispy squash blossom, an incredibly fresh grilled fish, and the best scallops I’ve ever had! I only wished we had more space to try even more... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Shukette:
The well-maintained dessert was excellent! However, the fried artichokes were disappointing; we could only taste the oil they were cooked in. The idea of grilled nectarine and cheese was nice, but unfortunately, the nectarine was neither sweet nor ripe. Took some friends here on a Saturday night and we absolutely loved it. Our server, Bailey, gave excellent recommendations. The tomato salad changed our lives, so good. WTF what was that cream underneath, I need more of it. Overall, I am looking forward to our next visit here.
Been here every time visiting NYC. Booking in advance, impossible for walk-in.
What a treat. Creative and delicious. I look forward to trying more dishes. It is so popular it is too noisy indoors.
Shukette in New York City is an absolute gem for Mediterranean cuisine lovers. From the moment I stepped inside, I was transported to a warm and inviting atmosphere filled with the aroma of fresh herbs and spices. The menu offers a delightful array of traditional dishes, each prepared with care and attention to detail. I started with a perfectly seasoned hummus, served with warm pita bread that was soft and chewy. The main course was equally impressive I opted for the lamb shish kebab, which was cooked to perfection and incredibly tender. The flavors were bold and authentic, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to using high quality ingredients. The service was impeccable, with our server being attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The ambiance was cozy and relaxed, making it the perfect spot for a leisurely meal with friends or family. If you're craving a taste of the Mediterranean in the heart of New York City, Shukette is a must visit. I highly recommend it!
