nyc is expensive and I am always shocked by food prices 80 for 2 no alcohol) but if they want a nice opportunity, they sit in the vicinity of the empire state building, that is it. my daughter had the pho, it was a massive bowl, my combo was not what I thought, but great. the atmosphere was great. service was great, no problems. overall, I would recommend. What User doesn't like about Shanghai Mong:
The restaurant charges customers extra on their credit card bills. Be sure to carefully review your bill after it is posted. This establishment consistently adds extra charges, like a dollar here and there, without informing the customer. I have had multiple instances where they have added unauthorized charges to my bill. Despite the quality of the food and drink, this practice is not acceptable. Be cautious when din... View all feedback.

Service was great and attentive. Sat in a little hut house outside, the vibes were great. The food was okay. Tasty and well seasoned. The drinks were also good.
BEWARE OF ORDERING SOUPS ON UBEREATS APP.I just ordered tofu and vegetable soup on the Uber eats app and it cost 12$. This just the soups alone. I wasnt expecting it to be in a small container. No hints or in print that it was going to be in a small container.
Pretty good korean-chinese food with a reasonably priced lunch menu. You know this place is more legit' because the stars are being dragged down by complaints about customer service. Protip: don't let the server's attitudes bother you, that's how it is with many asian places.Anyways, the JJM is rich and full of onions and potatoes, but could have used a piece or two more of pork. The noodles are long and satisfyingly chewy. I quite liked the sweet sour chicken, which was extra crispy and had an extra spicy zing, but sometimes the meat was fibrous.
Wish I could give zero stars!! There was a HUGE BUG in my kimchi!!! Absolutely disgusting. Do not eat here
