We hadn't been here in a few years, but the experience is the same. The Mediterranean selections were excellent. Everything from the wine to the desserts. Plenty of assistance is offered in describing foods and wines. I had the bronzino; the seasoning was amazing. The atmosphere is also very unique, private tables in the nooks and crannies of this romantic cave-like cellar. A great all-around experience. View all feedback.
This restaurant is unique and perfect for a romantic date or a fun night out with friends. The Lycheetini is delicious and I highly recommend trying the mixed grill. The Valentine's Day meal, especially the Risotto, was also excellent.
Hidden on this beautiful and intimate Mediterranean restaurant in the Upper West Side. It is a small restaurant with limited seating, but is tastefully filled. The food was great we enjoyed the Babaganoush, Gambas Al Ajillo and the Moroccan mint tea. The Patatas Bravas are a tad bean and the Mushroom Saganaki cannot be for everyone (uses a pretty strong smelling kefalotyri cheese). The service was great and we really enjoyed our visit. Would recommend this place for a romantic dinner!
Located on the upper west side, this restaurant is a charming and intimate spot perfect for a cozy date night. Although there is minimal signage, guests can find their way by descending a staircase into the underground dining area illuminated by candlelight. The menu offers delicious food and the restaurant features multiple small rooms with unique designs, creating a distinctive and romantic atmosphere.
We dined at a lovely Mediterranean restaurant that is beautiful, unique, and romantic. The food was delicious - my husband enjoyed a lamb dish, while I had a seafood option. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, recommending tasty appetizers and desserts. We visited the restaurant to celebrate our anniversary after seeing a show at the nearby Lincoln Center.
The experience at this beautiful and mysterious little hidden gem was impeccable. The food at this Mediterranean restaurant was truly lick your plate worthy. The ambiance is sexy, moody, private and intimate. The staff was sweet. Definitely would visit again and recommend to friends. Everything was superb but my top recommendations of the night were both the pizza and Mediterranean spreads as appetizers, Branzino for entree and Ekmek Kataif for dessert.
