Was JUDITH at Rosa Mexicano by Lincoln Center a mag?
This is a great place to dine after attending an event in Lincoln Center. The guacomole is freshly made and exceptional. The margaritas are excellent even with the house tequila. An enjoyable night out. I highly recommend for quality Mexican food. View all feedback.
What christopher geyer dislikes about Rosa Mexicano by Lincoln Center:
Service was ok. The homemade guacamole is always excellent. The main was just ok. I think they are cutting back on the margaritas which were ok but the glasses were not very full. Frankly I think the place is is not as good as it has been in that past. It’s still ok but not to die for. View all feedback.
The food at this restaurant is excellent, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The staff is efficient and friendly. I highly recommend it.
I made reservations for lunch and I'm glad I did because it quickly got busy. We ordered from the Pronto lunch menu, which includes a smaller first course and a smaller lunch course. We also added tableside-made guacamole. However, I would skip the guac next time as it was overpriced and lacked flavor. I had to ask for salt and jalapeños to enhance the taste. The chicken tortilla soup for my first course was one of the best I've ever had. It was presented nicely with all the ingredients brought to the table and the broth added tableside. For my second course, I had chicken tacos with flour tortillas. They were small but delicious and a perfect portion for lunch. We had so much food that we couldn't even finish the guac. The decor is upscale with a large two-story waterfall wall. I would gladly return to this restaurant again.
Two of us each had Tacos, scrimp for one, steak for the other and we were both very happy with our choices
Best guacamole EVER, the corn side dish is “to die for”, the duck in the tacos with mango was excellent (though the soft taco shells are too soggy), and the service was very quick and attentive.
