Though some may be disappointed in the closure of the location, the Harlem site remains open and offers a satisfying Lobster Benedict and great customer service. While some may find certain dishes overly salty or less impressive, others may enjoy the African-inspired dishes like the chicken stew and grilled octopus. Overall, Ponty Bistro is a great spot for a delicious meal with generous portions, friendly service, and fresh, flavorful food.
Unfortunately, this was the last day of service as Ponty has lost their rental contract. The Harlem location is still open. We ordered the Lobster Benedict and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, and we were pleased with our meal. We are disappointed that they are no longer in the neighborhood.
Cute atmosphere, great service and super delicious food. Highly recommend the Branzino. The 2 for 1 martini special will leave you very tipsy. Enjoy!!
I love the Ponty Bistro menu but the food can be uneven. I had the mussels, which were great, but my friend ordered a salad with so much wilted lettuce it had to be sent back.
Excellent food, good service. I love the ambience. The food is very unique.
The grilled octopus with risotto was too salty, with the lamb chop overcooked and the rest of the dishes lacking flavor. The African spiced steamed mussels and soft shell crab were average. Additionally, a bottle of white wine was left on the table instead of being placed in an ice bucket.
