Poke Fresh - New York

My friend brought me to this restaurant for our anniversary, and the staff went above and beyond to prepare candles and everything. The food was fresh and delicious, and it was easy to order with my allergies and dietary needs in mind. Their poke bowls are very popular, and I can see why! My friend and I tried the house poke and salmon poke bowls. I will definitely be coming back with friends and family!

I ordered from this restaurant for the first time. I tried the spicy lava dish. It seemed like everything came from a can. The fish had a strong smell that was unbearable, I couldn't even take 3 bites. Please avoid ordering the fish from here, as it is not fresh.

The avocado was not ripe and the spicy tuna was oddly textured. I probably won't return to this restaurant since there are many other poke options in the area.

I always request "sauce on the side" when I order from this restaurant, but they never provide it. Additionally, charging $5 for a single tiny mochi is excessive - I expected a pack of four. The food is fresh, but I found it difficult to enjoy my meal due to my eyes tearing constantly.

I ordered a poke bowl with brown rice, but received white rice instead, which I am allergic to. When I called to request a new order, the person on the phone offered me a side of brown rice. I explained that I needed a completely new order as I couldn't just transfer the fish to brown rice. However, when I mentioned my allergy, she laughed and told me to pick up the brown rice. I was not pleased with her reaction to my allergy and will not be ordering from this restaurant again.
