What User doesn't like about Paul's On Time Square Hilton Garden Inn:
We were disappointed, the restaurant is very overrated. The menu limited, standard quality food and not adaptable with requests. We were served with some complimentary garlic bread, when we requested more, we were told only one portion per table. We even offered to pay! The pizzas were nothing special. The waitress who greeted us really couldn't be bothered being there. The location is great, but a half hearted appro... View all feedback.
The food was sub-par. The lobster ravioli looked like it was made last week and warmed over and, while it tasted not spoiled, it smelled like it was turning. The service was slow and manager was too informal. The tables and chairs were sticky and everything was a bit under maintained. Definitely not a $60/person meal.
I found Paul's on Times Square on Open Table, and am so glad that I did. It's easy to miss if you're not staying at the Hilton Garden Inn on 42nd Street, but it's definitely worth checking out. The butternut squash soup was delicious, and the rigatoni with eggplant and mozzarella was generous is size and just amazing. I finished with the chocolate mousse cake, which was also excellent. The service was outstanding and the prices most reasonable. A great option in the Times Square Theatre District.
The food was decent. Nothing great but not bad either. There was a long wait after we ordered and even after the place cleared out. Took a while to get some water as well. Overall not a bad place. But nothing spectacular either.
Enjoyed it very much. Food was delicious and service was very food. Our server was charming and attentive.
Typical hotel restaurant up sold as a elegant dining experience. Appetizer and meals were brought at the same time. Pasta seemed to have been sitting under heat lamps, as it was hard. TV in hotel lobby was visible and playing **** crime shows, not exactly what you want to catch a glimpse of. Skip Paul’s unless you are a guest in the hotel and need a quick, subpar dinner.
