The first time I ate here, my husband and I stumbled upon it while I was waiting for a haircut. We fell in love with the oysters and the ssam platter. Tonight, we went back with our two teenaged daughters and enjoyed it even more. The ambience is warm and cozy, with a wait staff that is amazing and attentive. What Sylvia Cummings doesn't like about OIJI:
The food here was really good. I had the Shiso Fancy cocktail (which was very delicious). Food we had the foie Gras, Cauliflower, Chili Lobster, Oxtail and the Ssam Platter. I absolutely loveeee the Korean fusionThe fact that Oiji is tapas style, means I can order 4-5 dishes and try more items on the menu.
I thoroughly enjoyed my meal at Oiji, but just a warming to those who go in hungry -- the portions are very small (for the price).
Korean tapas almost too pretty to eat! We ordered more than half of the items listed on their menu, and shared family style.
Excellent selection of beers, reliably delicious food and great service. If you don't have a reservation, it's usually easy to secure a spot at the bar for a full dining service. A neighborhood favorite.
Whoa. Yellowtail tasted way too "fishy" and the so-called pastrami shortribs were greasy pastrami. Both were $ 30. Robbery. We gave our feedback to the bartender (we were sitting at the bar) and he made no effort to "get it right". I will not be back. The dining room was nice ... parking was awful in the neighborhood.
