Good Malaysian food at decent prices. A neighborhood staple. Nothing special about the atmosphere/decor. Service was decent.

I very rarely write reviews (this is the only one I'll write after spending 7 days eating in Manhattan), but decided to make an exception for this one. The food was delicious. I'm not that familiar with Malaytian cuisine, but this place has sold me on it. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Although most items on the menu contain meat or fish, they helped my vegetarian friend choose and the chef even made adjustments for them. The Restaurant is cash-only, but they make that clear when you enter. My only regret is not going to eat here a second time.

Busy cash only establishment. Been a long time since I ate Malaysian food and it definitely did not disappoint. Friends took me and ordered the Haines chicken, roti, string beans, and watercress. All delicious. A lot of their dishes have shrimp paste, so for people with shellfish allergies, BEWaRe! They do list the ingredients for the dishes on the menu though.

I am a Penangite living in Bay Area craving for Penang food. Didn’t know this place, visiting NYC, went to Sloomoo with the kids and found this restaurant nearby. Pasembur, jawa mee, rojak, assam laksa caught my eyes (if you are from Penang you’d understand), Ordered Rojak, the staff warned me, it has ‘strong fishy taste’ , I was like the stronger the better and I was not disappointed! It has raw cuttlefish and that’s exactly the kind of Rojak I have been searching for! Strongly recommend this restaurant. Came back again during dinner hour and they were packed. Customers were waiting impatiently and rude, but staff remained calm and polite.
