Nougatine Terrace is so little known to out of towners that I hesitate to review it, but here goes. Excellent three course restaurant week tasting menu, top notch wine list with excellent wines at all price points and a quiet, hedge enclosed terrace. What more could you want in NYC? I stand by everything I said in my previous review, but today's experience was not up to par.
Excellent selection of beers, reliably delicious food and great service. If you don't have a reservation, it's usually easy to secure a seat at the bar for a full dining service. A neighborhood favorite.
Wow. The yellowtail had a strong fishy taste and the pastrami short ribs were greasy. Both dishes were $30 each, which felt like a rip-off. We expressed our disappointment to the bartender, who seemed uninterested in making things right. I won't be returning to this restaurant. The dining room was pleasant, but parking was difficult in the area.
