While the dining experience may have had a few hiccups, such as seating proximity and service delays, the delicious food and attentive staff make up for it. The restaurant is perfect for special occasions, offering complimentary perks for celebrations. Overall, Morrell Wine Bar is a recommended spot for happy hour hangouts, casual meals, or even just shopping for affordable wines with helpful and dedicated staff. A must-visit in Manhattan, especially during the festive Christmas season.
The restaurant has a nice and peaceful ambiance, excellent service, and offers good value for the money.
Although the food was mostly delicious, there were a few problems with our dining experience. Firstly, despite informing the host about my girlfriend's severe apple allergy during the reservation confirmation call, we were served an appetizer containing apples. Thankfully, she did not have a reaction, but I was disappointed by the oversight. Secondly, our waiter disappeared at one point during the meal, leaving us waiting for over 15 minutes before someone came to take our order.
Beautiful view of the tree and great location but stick to a drink at the bar... the service was slow and subpar!!
Wonderful server and service! Brought some rose as a birthday celebration starter on the house and enjoyed every drop of wine and every bite of my many plates! Yum yummy!
Great stopping point after touring Rockefeller Center. Large variety of wine (but no Mascato. Waitstaff was great at finding me a good alternative though. Would definitely go back. Get reservations though. It was packed around 8 pm
