Great bar at this restaurant a fun locals place with a nice atmosphere. Craft cocktails, sake and Japanese whiskies are their specialty but also have interesting beers. Always nice music playing with nice clientele and great bartenders. Give it a try. View all feedback.
What Letitia McClure doesn't like about Meijin Ramen:
I ordered the signature Miso Meijin Ramen, and it was kinda underwhelming. The ramen was neither authentic nor an innovative twist that impressed. In fact, I don't think this is the place to come to for authentic ramen, as there was only one choice of pork both ramen, as opposed to the several beef broth options (which is not a traditional soup base). It took too long (35 minutes! The food is mediocre at best. It was quite pricey. There are much better options nearby.
Great ramen. Great sushi. Great donburi. Great apps. I frequently visit, which is a rarity for me living in nyc.
The ramen is not even average, it’s like entry level YouTube ramen from a package. Spicy miso was lukewarm and devoid of flavor. The setting is more a bar than a restaurant, wouldn’t return here
This is my second time here and I have to say the food is PHENOMENAL. Everything is cooked to perfection and you can tell there is so much care put into every dish. The staff are friendly and helpful— and they remembered us! Even though we had been here months ago!
Brought our friend out for her birthday and everything was phenomenal. Drinks, appetizers, Ramen were all amazing. Rotating menu keeps everything fresh. Winter short rib Ramen and summer washu beef are my favorites.
