May Kaidee - New York

I was in the old position and recently went to this new one. It is still the same amazing food and amazing May. If you have any food restrictions, they will try to hit them. I usually eat WFPB and Sos free and this time they added this dish without oil, I was so stolen and it tasted so good. Portions are good. I'm definitely a fan of life. Went again recently and ordered directly from the menu without changes and nothing was excessively oily or salty, just so much yum. The Tom Yum soup was from this world, I wish the part was bigger! The pad Thai I think was the best I ever had until I loved it had a ton of fresh veg up. Definitely come back to try some of their curries. My only complaint is her weird hours. I wish they were open for lunch, not just for dinner! I made the trip from NJ to eat here and arrived a bit after their opening time (5pm) just to see the sign at the door that they open around 7pm lol. One of the staff saw how I turned around and cuddled under my breath and they left me friendly early haha. But yes, call and check before you leave. Updated by previous rating on 2022 12 26

May Caidee for our event for 20 people and the food was fresh, tasty, and filled with wonderful aromas, herbs and spices! Service was amazing, friendly and attentive to our food restriction needs. This is the best vegan food I've ever tasted! We ordered the padthai, fried rice and spring rolls. Mai Kaidee has great vegetarian and vegan options! Very recommended for catering and for going out with friends / family!

The red curry was delicious, but the pad Thai was rather inconspicuous.

Always order the pad Thai and the green curry. Phenomena doesn't miss.

I enjoyed the Dumpligs with added plant based pork, Summer Rolls and hot Thai tea. My dining companion had the Pad Thai (sauce on the side) and loved it. They claimed it was the best they ever had.
