The food was excellent and service also. The chairs had no padding left in them. This is something that should be fixed immediately. This is a high end restaurant and chairs should match. Lightning was poor. Saw people next to us have to turn their flashlight on in their phones to read the menu. View all feedback.
What Ignatius doesn't like about Mattina's:
The bread served at our table was stale and hard as a rock. The cocktails lacked any hint of alcohol. The sea bass wasn’t particularly fresh and, oddly enough, was completely submerged in olive oil—there was at least a quarter-inch of it on the plate. It was quite unpleasant. When we came to Mattina’s it was well over 100 outside but the room we were seated in had a ceiling fan and it was very pleasant. The service was excellent and we enjoyed our food. The next time we are in Kingman we will return to Mattina’s.
Really good waitress!!! Foot was really great. They made it right when the wrong noodles came. This company stands behind their food!!
Great place, great food, great service. A bit cooler would have made it better. That wouldn't stop me from eating there.
This is our fav place to eat. Great food always, and good service.. although last night was so hot and stuffy inside, I would think that in the Kingman heat, they would have better a/c or install more fans. If it was any other place, we would have left. It was pretty bad. I feel bad for the servers! it must have been awful for them..
We drove through Kingman on our way home to New Mexico from Palm Springs. Mattina's was a highlight of our visit. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. A gentleman from Italy was seated near us and he confirmed the food was authentically prepared and greatly enjoyed!
