Maialino - New York

We had a fantastic meal before a show at the Blue Note. The staff are incredibly outgoing and very helpful. And the wine staff really know their products. We shared a nightly special (as an appetizer) raviolo as with shaved white truffles and it was as good a dish as I’ve had in an Italian restaurant. My pappardelle bolognese was decent but the other dishes were much better, like the lamb chops and lobster with pasta. We truly enjoyed our experience at Maialino.

They say first impressions last! Well, my first wasn’t as good as my second. I had a much better experience second time around. The seating was good. I made reservations so there was no wait time. Servers were polite and offered great service. Food was great! The wine and champagne suggestions were off the rock! I will be back!

We slightly missed breakfast but there was succinct transition menu before lunch. I’m glad I was there for the sandwich that was offer! It was huge and filled with the most mouthwatering, delicatessen goods as good as the sandwich was the awesome coffee and super friendly service. There’s also a great view to the park across the road

Highly recommended. Excellent food and service. Thank you Evan for making this evening a great experience.I enjoyed my Eggplant Parmesan and a Mediterranean salad with the garlics knots. Others ordered short ribs, rigatoni, and steak. They were all happy with their food choices.

Great service and overall incredible food. Came here with our friend while he was in town and ordered the spaghetti carbonara, chicken parm, and the gargantuan size of the chicken Alfredo. The gargantuan size was for me and my friend to share and let me tell you, that one plate could have fed all 4 of us.... They give you complimentary all you can eat garlic knots that are to die for. Come here for a low key date night or if you need an excuse to stuff your face with great food.
