What User doesn't like about La Brochette Steakhouse:
The prices are outrageous. The service was excellent, just like the food. The biggest issue is the noise level. It’s a great place if you don't want to hold a conversation with your dining partner. I recommend going when you can get a private room. View all feedback.
This is an amazing kosher steakhouse! The food is absolutely delicious. We started with the appetizer sampler platter, which was fantastic. We also ordered a roll of sushi, risotto, and a bone-in ribeye steak. The steak was the best I’ve ever had in any restaurant. The drinks were excellent too. On the night of our visit, there was a private event, so the main floor was fully booked and we ended up dining upstairs. This caused some delays in service, but our waiter was still excellent. I would definitely return!
We kicked off our meal with some fun drinks, sushi rolls, and crispy rice, all beautifully arranged on a large platter resembling a boat. This setup made it easy to share and was incredibly picturesque. For the main course, we moved on to the steaks, which were not only visually appealing but also tasted amazing and arrived at just the right moment. To finish the night, we ordered a dessert for the birthday boy. The staff surprised him with sparklers, going above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and celebrated. It was a fantastic experience, and we will definitely be returning! Thank you, La Brochette, for such an unforgettable evening!
The appetizers were also subpar. The sushi was particularly disappointing, featuring dry, tough beef skewers and low-quality deep-fried rolls. Even the pulled beef tacos failed to impress, lacking any real flavor. Overall, the food here barely measures up to what you would expect from a low-end takeout establishment—a real disgrace considering the reputation of the place. For those who value quality food, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere. Although the prices aren’t an issue for us—we are accustomed to the dining culture in NYC—it's clear that this restaurant does not deliver on its promises. The service, however, was commendable; the staff was courteous and pleasant, but unfortunately, that's about the only positive aspect of our visit. They will serve you underwhelming and bland rubbery steaks with a smile. We didn’t feel comfortable causing a scene by returning the steaks, as it was late and we didn't want to wait another 30-45 minutes for properly cooked meals. It's a real shame, as we truly had a terrible experience. My group and I, along with our friends, have no intention of returning to La Brochette Steakhouse.
Came in for early dinner with the kids. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was perfect. The staff were ver friendly to the kids. The food was definitely fresh. Presentation was on point. 1st time dining here but definitely not the last. Fromthe sushi to the steak as well as the apps you can't go wrong.
