I had some concerns due to the negative reviews, but I decided to try the lunch special, particularly the California rolls. Priced at $14, it appeared to be a good value. View all feedback.

We've had the sushi and tempura in the past and been very happy. Tonight we had the yaki soba and yaki udon. Big mistake. The vegetables seemed to have been steamed, with no sign of stir frying, the seasoning was close to undetectable, with none of the expected sweetness, and the beef in the yaki udon was tough. We'll be back, but not for those dishes.
THE WORST DINING EXPERIENCE EVER! I went there because my six year old wanted to go for sushi and we had been before. It's always been mediocre and I gave in and went. I made the mistake of getting the all you can eat for $33.95. I ordered a roll, some sushi and a handroll. They sat us right near the sushi bar and the person helping to make the sushi would not stop glaring at me my entire meal! Always checking out what I was eating was I sharing? It was so unenjoyable. I could not just enjoy eating and being with my family for my daughter's birthday. The sushi was terrible. All rice and barely anything in the middle of the rolls or on top of the sushi. It had no flavor at all. Then to top it off, the server came over to me and warned me that I must finish all my rice on my plate or I would be charged. At that point, I let her know just how awful the food was and on top of that, I could not enjoy even sitting there with them eyeing me and surrounding me, monitoring every bite and my every move with their precious all you can eat rice. Please save your money. There are plenty of other sushi restaurants on 72nd street that are quality and great service/pleasant dining experience.
Hesitated over the reviews but still decided to try it out people were right. They stuff you with rice, and it's not even good sushi rice. It's without the refined, slightly sticky texture you get from normal sushi. AYCE menu is small. Service is just ok. Will not return.Food: 1/5
Agedashi tofu tasted bland like literally nothing . Dumplings were watery and had no flavor . California rolls were decent but not enough to save the meal. $33 dollars ill spent. Would not return .
The sushi was fantastic! Although I came across a few negative reviews from a few years back, the food truly surpassed my expectations. It was incredible! The service deserves a perfect 10/10. I would definitely return and highly recommend trying the dinner box—it was absolutely delicious, especially the sashimi. Overall, I’d rate the food 4 out of 5.
