I would not recommend this restaurant. My experience with the hostess was quite unpleasant. I visited on a Sunday afternoon, and the way she enforced their reservation-only seating policy was off-putting. Her attitude and sarcasm were unprofessional, and while I understand that it’s a busy place, there’s no reason to be rude. I left feeling upset, which is not what you want when dining out. Overall, I am very disappointed.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere and appreciated the good service, but unfortunately, the food didn’t meet expectations and was lacking in flavor. I ordered the chicken sandwich and found it to be quite bland and unappetizing, but the staff handled our complaint well. The spinach dip was just mediocre, and I wouldn’t recommend it. The French onion soup was rather watery. However, the filet was excellent, especially when paired with the mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts.

I had a wonderful time at the restaurant during my visit. I'm from Cape Town, South Africa, and I really enjoyed my experience there!

Giant roach on our chair, management handled poorly. Overall terrible experience.

If I can give -0 in atmosphere I will feel disappointed anyways, the restaurant look good but is so loud and everybody talking at the same time is crazy, servers can barely host you have to speak to them in the ear, feels like a closing club ambiance, honestly I felt extremely bad almost throwing up because I got a bad headache. Then is the issue with open door and the tables in front is freezing there. Ok I was excited for the food ? Audrey Peters is always talking about that restaurant I believe her so I was thinking that food was good? guys my caccio e pepe tasted like oil with pepper that’s it PURE OIL, listen to me I consider myself an expert with that dish I have tried a lot a lot of caccio e pepe from the city and no a single one tasted as the American Bar Oil Pepper pasta ?. I also ordered a Whipped Ricotta it was ok nothing crazy, my fiancé ordered a fillet mignon he said that it was good. Drinks are good too. Servers and staff are nice really friendly. If you like really good food and enjoy it don’t go there.
