From the minute I walked in and was greeted from a gentleman named Kevin behind the bar I knew this was going to be a nice chocolate experience . So many cute designs that are unique . Great place to get NY gifts because they have wonderful packaging with yellow cabs on then etc . I learned from the other lovely lady working named Olga that Jacques shops are only here and in France . Since I’m not headed to France an... View all feedback.
What Carrie Galvan doesn't like about Jacques Torres Chocolate Grand Central Terminal:
I made an online order at full price for holiday gifts only to receive an email with 20% discount immediately after. I called and emailed multiple times to either honor the discount or cancel the order that had not yet shipped so I could re-order on my own. They waited 4 days until after the sale had ended to reply saying they would not honor the sale and that they canceled the order. To say this left a bad taste in... View all feedback.
Chilly winter morning here in Midtown Manhattan. First time trying Cafe Grumpy in the Grand Central Terminal. Aromatic coffee blend smells to die for with super friendly service. I couldn’t decide between the vegan banana walnut muffin or the sugar plum danish… so I had both
I’ve worked in coffee for years and normally I’m a big fan of Grumpy hence 3 stars instead of less but they were uncharacteristically rude at this location. Good but not up to the price: The place is small but easy to navigate as the sitting place is along a glass iverlooking one entrance of Grand Central. The macchiato is strong as it should be but a bit bitter and the milk was added before being “foamed”. The decoration is simple but nice and the music is good
I like their matcha lattes but not the regular latte. The foam is really good and almond milk is delicious with matcha. They have very limited sitting and they usually busy.
A nice little cafe inside grand Central passageway (accessible from outside too) with a variety of single cup brews. Lots of coffee merchandise on sale, and a bunch of bottled cold brews are also available. It has got a few seats on the side bar if you are planning to hang out for a few minutes.
