Contribute FeedbackHudson Hound offers a vibrant atmosphere, drawing diners with its eclectic decor and lively vibe. While many rave about the impeccable service and delectable dishes like steak medallions, chicken liver pâté, and an array of burgers, some patrons have faced disappointments—particularly with the shepherd's pie and desserts, which fell short of expectations. Comfort and friendliness define the experience, bolstered by a solid drink menu. Whether indulging in comfort food or enjoying drinks, the Hudson Hound remains a notable spot in NYC, though responses to the menu can be decidedly mixed.
This place never disappoint. Every time we are here the staff is always friendly and very accommodating and the food is on point!
Before the High Kings performance, 8 of us had drinks and dinner here. Love the place, staff and especially the food. Going again next week for an added performance of the High Kings and dinner at Hudson Hounds
Love this place. Friendliest staff, even to my 2 year old. Great food and crowd.
Fantastic chicken chorizo hash a well deserved couple of pints after walking down the High Line. Great service very reasonable price. We were visiting NYC for the weekend from the UK this place was recommended to us by a friend who lives in the city. Thank you.
I took my mum dad here for dinner last night, they are visiting from Scotland and said it was the best meal they had in New York! The food is amazing!! We had the smokies for appetizer and the butternut squash soup, for main the rotisserie chicken, shepherd pie, red snapper and chicken pot pie were all delicious. Excellent food and excellent service. Can't wait to go back
