I visited this place one night after a few drinks, and the Jerk Chicken and Beef Patty were absolutely fantastic. The beef patty was very fresh and had a nice kick to it, which I really enjoyed. The jerk chicken was also spicy, and the collard greens were fresh and delicious. I loved it so much that I returned on a sober day after work to enjoy some great food again.

Even though I ordered the Jerk Chicken, the stew chicken was amazing, and the curry goat was really good too!

The food was disappointing because all the juices spilled in the bag, and the chicken was very dry.

When we called the restaurant, we were informed that any orders for jerk chicken placed through delivery apps now come as wet, saucy chicken, which is essentially brown stew chicken, contradicting the traditional dry jerk chicken. When we visited the restaurant to address the issue, the owner was quite irritable about our complaint. He bluntly told us he wouldn't lose money over this mix-up, and if we wanted the jerk chicken, we would have to buy it again at half price instead of rectifying the situation. In the end, we bought the jerk chicken at half price and gave the brown stew chicken away to someone in need, which unfortunately strained our relationship with the owner and diminished our status as customers. My advice: avoid ordering from this restaurant through delivery apps; you never know what you’ll actually receive.
