What Kevin Mcneil likes about Hill Country Chicken:
Decent fried chicken joint just steps from the shake shack that kicked off the revolution making unhealthy, fried comfort food societally acceptable for those that would never be caught dead in a KFC or McD. Ground floor dining area is nice but the downstairs game room has seen better days. The fussball table was broken, the floor dirty and be bathrooms disgusting. View all feedback.

While the ground floor dining area offers a nice ambiance, the downstairs game room could use some improvements. However, the chicken and waffles dish is a standout menu item that shouldn't be missed, paired perfectly with a refreshing beer. With well-seasoned and juicy chicken, this spot stands out as a high-quality option for fast food lovers. The efficient and friendly counter staff will guide you through the menu, ensuring you have a fantastic dining experience. The Sunday Special deal is a great value for moist and tender chicken, though some diners may find the seasoning a bit mild. Overall, this spot is a must-visit for fried chicken enthusiasts looking for a welcoming atmosphere and tasty comfort food.
Pleasantly surprised by Hill Country Chicken despite the less than stellar reviews here.
This place is bomb. I got the Wickedwitch sandwich with mac and cheese while my friend got the Mexican corn on the cob.
