Many of the dishes at HANJAN aim to evoke the vibrant flavors of Korean street markets, providing comfort food enjoyed by people in Korea in their everyday lives. We prioritize using high-quality ingredients, including meat raised without antibiotics or growth hormones, sustainably caught fish, and organic and local produce whenever possible. We believe that food should be both delicious and responsible for the health of our customers.

Feedback
Hanjan is a delightful Korean restaurant that offers a delicious and authentic dining experience without the hustle and bustle of Ktown. Many customers have raved about the elevated Korean dishes reminiscent of home-cooked meals. While the a la carte menu may be on the pricey side, the restaurant offers fantastic deals during restaurant week. The lack of non-alcoholic drink options, besides water and a high-priced fizzy drink, has been a drawback for some. Customers have enjoyed a range of dishes from perfectly fried Chicken Katsu and Bulgogi Beef Bibimbap to unique offerings like cod roe and black bean noodles. The cocktails have been a hit as well, with recommendations to try the Rabbits Foot made with Tōkki Black soju. While some have felt rushed by the service, overall Hanjan receives high praise for their fabulous Korean cuisine, friendly service, and welcoming atmosphere. They offer a must-try jajangmyeon and are known for their fantastic spicy chicken wings. The restaurant is a great option for groups, with a prix-fixe menu and ample servings for all. The management goes above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service, including complimentary drinks and accommodation for allergies. Ultimately, Hanjan is a must-visit destination for lovers of Korean food in NYC.
Really delicious eating and environment just a bit overpriced for what they get.
Great eating the spicy chicken wings were amazing, my favorite part of the meal. we also had the porridge and Cho chicken main, and they were super delicious. all have washed out with a refreshing Kloud warehouse. will definitely go back and recommend to anyone I know nyc
Everything was very good except we felt rushed from the server. she even took away my drink when it was about half full. the restaurant was moderately busy, but not waiting.
Had a prix-fixe menu on a recent visit with a large group; the kitchen presented the dishes family-style, with ample helpings for all. The dishes were bright, pleasantly spicy, and full of freshness. The restaurant cheerfully accommodates large groups, and did make substitutions for two diners in our party with shellfish allergies. The noise reached a level that made conversation difficult except with one’s immediate neighbor.
Fantastic Korean food the food was great, friendly service, and a great atmosphere! My least favourite food was the garlic fried chicken. The jajangmyeon was fantastic and it's a MUST order. If it's in season don't miss out on the soft shell crab! I would love to come back and if you haven't been to Hanjan reserve you spot now.
