Some diners found the brunch menu to be lacking in quality and options, while others praised the outstanding momo and garlic nan dishes, despite running out of lamb. The unique and tasty Nepalese cuisine, along with generous portions at fair prices, impressed many customers. The chic and modern atmosphere of the restaurant, located on the fourth floor of the Yotel, and friendly, helpful service were highlights for some. The creativity of the chef and reasonable prices were also appreciated by diners. Overall, the Green Fig seems to offer a diverse dining experience with a mix of hits and misses on the menu.
Emily, hostess, was so pleasant. Outdoor seating in summer time is close to perfect- can be a bit windy- so check the NOAA forecast. Many outdoor seating are located on the north side of the building, so sit in a shade - that is absolutely perfection on 75 degrees days. Pancakes, I must say, are some of the most spectacular I've ever had. I'm looking for hearty, big portions, butter, fluffy, fruity folding jackets for about 14 years in the neighborhood... Green Fig's pancakes, chicken sandwich, pommes and menu was excellent. Very nice, even without reservations able to go. Thank you for your work!
The food was delicious, but the portions were extremely small, the drinks were also very small infusion.. bad value.
The menu was limited at Brunch. The food was OK some of us had the burger that was too dry. But the Pommes were decent. The service was very slow and they made some mistakes on the order that required us to send the food back.
Nice place to go in a very crowded and noisy area of Manhattan. Food is very good, the tables aren't crowded together. The beer and wine list is good is a little limited. I like that it's on the 4th floor rather than street level.
The food was delicious and the service was okay, though the server was exceptionally kind.
