I don't know if it's true, but Gray's papaya eat some muuy doggies, very rich I don't know if there's more than one in town, but if so. The food smells better than it tastes. I live in the area, and every time I walk by and smell the food, I consider getting some, and every time that I have bought a hot dog here, I've regretted it. It's not bad; but it doesn't live up to the hype.
Not too good hot dogs, but ok compared to its prices. The juices are top good and included to the prices. I tried papaya and it was really fresh. Not a masterpiece but cheap and quick meal to take
The sign at the entrance reads, I'm not sure if it's true but at Gray's Papaya you can eat some really, really delicious hot dogs. I don't know if there is more than one in the city, but if so... New York is so lucky! The price is around $7 for 2 hot dogs with a drink, really cheap and the toppings you can add are: ketchup and mustard, obviously, pickles, spicy onions and/or sauerkraut; a kind of pickled cabbage. My recommendation, add everything, if they're inventing toppings to put on it then nothing can go wrong! (it's delicious, trust me).
