What Kwon M doesn't like about Grace Street Coffee Desserts:
Arrived few minutes after their promised time but my order is not even picked up. The casher at front was nice enough to review my order and pick up everything for me. Cheesecakes are nice but nothing really special to justify the cost. View all feedback.
They have a seamless system going on at Grace Street: order (X.O.X.O shaved snow , pay (just over $20 after tip , and get your buzzer at the vestibule counter; funnel into the larger-than-it-looks-on-the-outside main room and pick a seat; and pick up your order at the back counter when your buzzer goes off. Don’t forget to grab long metal spoons, the appropriate deterrent to getting sticky sweet milk snow, strawberry puree, lychee jelly, and homemade organic rose syrup all over your hands. (I hate being sticky. Grace Street didn’t disappoint. A Babylonian tower of sweet, finely shaved milk melted in our mouths. We loved that you could choose to up the sweetness with the lychee jelly and the pooled strawberry and rose syrup at the base. We’re on the border of deep winter, so out-of-season, predictably sour, firm strawberries bathed in the snowmelt. Will be back for their other desserts.
Be sure to bring a friend with you because these dessert options are huge! Savory and sweet, it's hard to go wrong with any option here.
The food at this restaurant is delicious in every aspect and is comparable to the top shaved ice spots in Los Angeles.
This restaurant is one of my favorite places to go for desserts when I want to impress visiting friends or family. There is usually a line outside, but it moves quickly. You order at the entrance and then find a seat. At night, a staff member will help you find a table, making it more organized. It is less busy during the week, making it a great spot for reading or work (just a heads up, they may not have wifi). My favorite menu items are the burnt cheesecake (creamy, smooth, and decadent) and the mango shaved ice. Those are my top choices, but all of the shaved ice flavors are delicious. The matcha beignets are soft and pair perfectly with the green matcha ice cream. If I'm here during the day for work, I like to get the rose or lavender latte. They taste luxurious and are perfect for your Instagram page.
This bubble tea spot was super busy when we got there but luckily the seating area is quite big and very nicely decorated. They have a good selection of drinks and also dessert items. They have these delicious shaved ice cream desserts that look like sundaes. They are huge! Definitely worth the wait and the experience. I would definitely come by again when I visit Koreatown.
