A once in a lifetime dining experience you definitely won’t regret. The food, the wine, the ambience and service all exceeded our expectations. A highlight was the sturgeon tart and the duck breast. Also definitely go for the wine pairing, it adds another interesting element to the experience. This place is a little more under the radar than some of the other Michelin restaurants in NYC but I would argue offers the b... View all feedback.
What Cominthrumiddleburg doesn't like about Gabriel Kreuther:
We selected the six course tasting menu. There wasn’t one dish that was disappointing. This is easily the most refined cuisine I have experienced in NYC and is probably in a class with some of the top restaurants in the world. Good luck in these turbulent times. View all feedback.
I came to my jubilee dinner here and I was not disappointed at all! I would have the tasting menu with wein pairing (I don't feel) but the offered courses were amazing! beginning we were greeted with a happy anniversary card waiting for us, at the table. there were many off menu tasty between meals and the foods are cooked for perfection! server are really warm, welcoming and knowledgeable about the food that are served. we are not enthusiastic weinschmackler, but we can appreciate a good wein because the sommelier is the perfect pairing for the most important courses we have chosen. to tip it off, this was dissert amazing as we have a chocolate-mose cake that complements the meal for our celebration! if you want an experience, this place is highly recommended.
Amazing! that was our first michelin star restaurant and eating fulfilled all our expectations. delicious French cuisine and beautiful presentation. would have liked to have a statement for each court and a good pair of wine.
This place is special. I made a reservation for the birthday of my man and it was not disappointed! everything was so delicate and detailed. not to mention the meal was so subtle and yet delicious. I was full of the end of the night, so not in all a “Gourmet” still kind experience lol it was expensive, but it was worth as a special occasion at night. definitiw enjoyed our experience and will come back in the future, while in new york.
Update. I had dinner tonight in the bar and the experience was perfect as usual! gabriel kreuther, located within the legendary Grace building, is not only one of the best restaurants in nyc, it is one of the best in the country. I have eaten some paints here and even made the 70th birthday party of my father-in-law in one of the private rooms. from eating, service and atmosphere it was always perfect! this restaurant is a must to visit and my favorite place to eat in nyc.
I had high expectations going in but Gabriel Kreuther exceeded all of them. Unbelievable food, absolutely excelling service from the hostess to the manager to the server to all the other staff that stopped by our table to take care of us, and great ambiance we could breathe and enjoy the evening. Reasonably priced bottles of wine which was a pleasant surprise. The standout in my opinion was the sturgeon pastry topped with black caviar in a glass with smoke not only for effect, the flavor was an powerful flavor yet delicate texture, with every bite and chew. Phenomenal spot, I would save for relatively casual but special occasions.
