Floridita Uptown Inc - New York

I'd leave 0 stars if possible. We made a large catering order for 50 people and spent $870.00. The food was tasteless and looked absolutely terrible. All at the party left the food on their plate (the people who even touched the food) and most of the dishes went untouched. Cuban sandwiches were made with large and thick pieces of dry meat. Calamari was big thick and soggy and chew without taste at all. The Plantains were very dry and had no ounce of salt. Everything was done HORRIBLE. That was our sons' first birthday party. We've never been so embarrassed with a family gathering EVER. We called the restaurant to explain, and they apologized and promised a call back after talking to the owner and we never received a call. Would never come to this place again. Waste almost $900.

The food was delicious. Came from a concert next to the United Palace. My date was looking for a good place to eat after 11:00. That's it! In fact, all Floridita restaurants I was, they always have great food and good service.

They violated me, I chose shredded chicken they gave me the lil mfers big toe. Then the Mofongo was mad hard the opps was outside I cracked them with it shattered a pelvis citizin app man hit with dry mofongo. Count ya days I never left a review on anythin but I?m on ya back

The evening I went was 7/26/22, it was my birthday n when I finished work n wanted a gr8 meal for this gr8 day of the year all restaurants expect for this 1, happened to b closed at 1030 pm, I was tight until I heard about this restaurant. Their own employees always a gr8 hospitality n gr8 attitudes. It was cleaned n not crowded. They were very kind. I enjoyed eating a meal from this restaurant.

Floridita was excellent Dominican cuisine at an affordable price. The staff was very kind, the portions were generous, and the food was excellent. I'll definitely be stopping back!
