There are not very many good Mexican food spots in New York, but this was solid! The lunch specials are great considering the price, loved my fajitas with a frozen margarita. View all feedback.
What Etoy J doesn't like about El Porton:
I called ahead because I'm a big fan of Tex-Mex and wanted to confirm that the cheese would be queso, not just shredded and melted. I was assured it would be melted cheese that you pour over nachos, but that turned out to be misleading. It was just cold cheese that had been somewhat melted in the microwave. I received a delivered order, and unfortunately, the food did not meet my expectations. The ground beef taco was extremely dry.
Food it’s pretty good and drinks are good and strong friendly staff I being there for a few times already recommend for good food and drinks and to have a good time with friends or family
Okay food, but very loud place and they refused to split the check.
Greatest food I have had in a while loved it. The drinks were on point. I will return again
We ordered a few dishes and margaritas. The drinks were full of cheap mixer taste, which didn’t make sense for the price we were paying.
