The prices are extremely high for what you get. The server was quite rude; she practically tossed my receipt onto the counter and rolled her eyes when I requested garlic and hot sauce. As I was leaving, she referred to me as "moreno" to another customer who spoke Spanish. This was my second visit, and it will certainly be my last.
The breaded boneless chicken chicharrón is incredible. It doesn’t have the typical seasoning you find in most Dominican restaurants; it feels more homemade. It tastes like something your grandmother from the countryside would make, with every bite bursting with flavor. I'm so glad I ordered it because I’m always a bit skeptical about this dish—it’s easy to prepare but can easily be done poorly. The chicken was tender and juicy, and I highly recommend it. Don’t think twice about ordering it; you can’t go wrong, and it was plenty for my family of four. It was the best $18 I've spent this week.
