Pleasing Japanese restaurant with top-notch grab and go Katsu. $16 a dish. 4.5/5 stars as a lunch spot.

Honestly, this place is just OK . Came here by mistake as my friend and I were heading towards another restaurant but that place seemed closed. Little did...
The curry is the best I tasted so far. Great The place is cute, and you can have your meal solo without feeling uncomfortable, the bar table in front of the kitchen is great, see picture. Only a small practical comment, in wintertime it is quite cold every time the door opens, so maybe do something about that? Maybe an additional curtain outside? Just an idea. Will be back for sure!!
Been coming here since 2000. Ramen is oldschool and wholesome. Chicken Katsu buns are delicious but pricy. Chashu is fresh, grilled beautifully. Takoyaki is great too!
